CCI's 2009 Theme

Children’s Conferences International is pleased to announce it’s 2009 theme, Pirates of the Cranium!

This swashbuckling adventure will emphasis the importance of taking every thought captive to the obedience of Jesus Christ. Pirates of the Cranium will include dramatic stage presentations, dynamic scripture memory, crafts, games, and CCI’s original music written just for this theme!

On their voyage, children will meet Billy and Wendy, two novice sailors serving the King on the high seas. Under the direction of their wise Captain Isaiah on the H.M.S. Cranium, Billy and Wendy learn important lessons about protecting their ship and their hearts from pirates. But the journey isn’t easy, for the sailors are challenged every step of the way by the evil pirate Captain Jack Rabbit and his marauding crew.

Young sailors will learn...

- Why it’s important to guard our thoughts

- How God’s Word helps us make right decisions

- How to conquer greed

- How wrong thoughts lead to wrong actions

- How to use the Sword of God’s Word to fend off ‘pirate thoughts’

- The Joy of redemption
